Eric Beekes
Eric Beekes is a renowned Dutch actor and singer. In the past 25 jears Eric and Wolfgang have made several theater programs together, including the programs for children: “Droomwolken”, “Een Olifant aan de Trapeze”, Koffers vol Annie” and “Lekker stout”.
Wolfgang also accompanied Eric in the theater programs “Liedjes van Verlangen” and “Diva’s”. He arranged and produced the backing thracks for the kids theater program “Mijn tante en ik op vakantie” and arranged, recorded and produced the CD album “Droomwolken”.
Theater program “Diva's"
In the theater play “Diva’s” Eric Beekes tells stories about his very special encounters with Adele Bloemendaal, Simone Signoret, Sonia Gaskell, Catarina Valente, Hetty Blok, Liesbeth List, Ramses Shaffy, Leonard Bernstein and others. Eric is accompanied by Wolfgang on the piano. Wolfgang als plays a couple of solo piano pieces in-between the stories.
Music theater program "Koffers vol Annie"
The theater program for children “Koffers vol Annie” is based on and composed of songs, stories and poems written by famous Dutch writer Annie MG Schmid. Eric is accompanied by Wolfgang on the piano.
Wolfgang also arranged, recorded and produced the CD album “Koffers vol Annie”. The CD is available here.
Music theater program “Droomwolken"
The theater program for children “Droomwolken” reflects on the world of a child full of dreams and fairytales with music and poems written by famous Dutch writers Theo Olthuis, Rob Chrispijn, Annie M.G. Schmidt en Willem Wilmink. Eric is accompanied by Wolfgang on the piano.
