The Groove Connection

The Groove Connection is a Soul-Jazz Quintet formed around tenor saxophone player Torsten Thomas from Cologne, Germany.

It features all original material inspired by the sound of big jazz giants like alto saxophone player Lou Donaldson and Hammond-organ player Jimmy Smith.

In this band Wolfgang gets a chance to play one of his all time favorite instruments, the Hammond-organ, an instrument on wich he started out playing in his first rock band 25 years ago!
